JW Marriott Wedding - Cherry Creek

Wendy and John are absolutely crazy about each other. My job was so easy, because the two of them couldn't stop smiling at each other. Wendy loves the color red more than I do. She is passionate and outgoing. John is more reserved and quite the thinker. The two of them are a perfect pair. Their Cherry Creek wedding at the JW Marriott was a complete hit. Wendy incorporated classic taste with a bit of a modern flair. I had a wonderful time working with their family and friends. Best wishes to the two of you. Thank you for allowing me to share in your special day.

Arvada Engagement Session - Wendy and John

Wendy and John elected to do family photos and an engagement session the day before their wedding. We did the photos in a beautiful park in Arvada. The light was perfect and the genuine love that Wendy and John share just added to the ambience. I had an absolute blast watching the two of them interact with each other and seeing how happy they made one another.

Denver Athletic Club Reception - Bridget and Paul

When I first met Bridget her warm personality was absolutely captivating. She and Paul were married at Saint Dominic's Catholic Church. The look on his face when he first saw his bride walk down the aisle, was absolutely tear-jerking. Following the ceremony, the sweet couple chose to take a few photos downtown before their Denver Athletic Club reception. The love that surrounded the couple on their wedding day was evidence of how many lives this couple has touched, including mine. They genuinely care about others and it is obvious that their relationship will continue to be one of caring for each other. Bridget and Paul are beautiful both inside and out. Best wishes to one of the sweetest couples I have had the privilege to work with.

Riverfront Park Engagement Session - Nichole and Rob

Nichole and Rob are quite the fun couple. They are easy going and laid back. We took their engagement photos in Riverfront Park in downtown Denver. They chose to bring their precious baby girl along for the shoot. That's right her name is Tanga, and she is definitely the cutest pug on the block.

Grand Teton Vacation

Ask anyone of my wonderful family members and they will tell you that I am not a morning person. I try really hard to be, but for some reason mornings just don't agree with me. However, yesterday morning happened to be a very different story. We went on vacation at Yellowstone National Park. On our second to last day, we drove through Grand Teton National Park. Both park were areas that I had always dreamed of visiting, but never got around to. It is pretty difficult to take time off during a busy season, but sometimes that time away can help you to clear your mind and be more productive. The day we drove through Teton, there were some beautiful thunderstorms, but they were less than ideal for one particular photo that I just had to have of Grand Teton (the one above). So, at 5:40 am, the next day, I arose without any hesitation to the amazing sound of my alarm clock. I woke the family up and we headed out the door. I knew it was going to be the perfect morning. The sun was just barely peaking over the horizon as we traveled down what appeared to be a bumpy road that lead to nowhere. At the end of the road was a parking lot. I was so delighted to see other cars in the parking lot. Truthfully, I was terrified that a Grizzly Bear would think my family of three was the perfect breakfast. At this time, I just meandered around the beaver dams and ponds, until I came to the perfect spot. I am by no means a landscape photographer. I love everything about photographing people. However, in this timeless moment, my breath was taken away by the gorgeous landscape that God created just for us to enjoy. It really was breathtaking.

Inverness Hotel Wedding - Jenny and Colby

When I first met Jenny, I couldn't help but notice the way her eyes lit up when she spoke of Colby. As Jenny began to describe the details of her wedding to me, I couldn't help but think of how beautiful it was going to be. Jenny looked absolutely gorgeous, and Colby was just smitten with her. It was so precious. Thank you Jenny and Colby for putting up with the many photos that we took. You are both amazing!

Inexpensive Wedding Photo Booth - Denver

Many times that I meet with clients they aren't sure whether or not a photo booth is worth the extra expense. To be fair, you can't always judge a book by it's cover. However, I think the photos above are evidence that a photo booth is worth every penny. But, you ask, "How much does one cost?" I charge $250 for a photo booth. It stays at the reception as long as I do. Now, I should also mention that in the photos above, I didn't actually use the full set up. When you have alot of guests, I can compensate by using a plain wall as a backdrop.
Finally, for those of you that are always wondering what I look like behind the scenes. I am the crazy looking girl in the really wrinkled purple shirt in the last photo. I promise my shirt never looks like that upon arriving at your wedding. It will however, look like that after your wedding.
The first two photos are some of my favorites. The first one is the groom with his father-in-law. Love. The second one is the mother of the bride and the father of the bride. That's a photo worth cherishing for life.

PS: This was a dry wedding, so you can't blame alcohol for all the fun everyone was having.

Lower Lake Ranch Wedding - Conifer

Jeremy and Brittany really do balance each other. They have such a sweet and sincere love. Jeremy thought that he would never get married, but then he met Brittany and...well, the rest is just history. The beautiful couple was married on August 28 at Lower Lake Ranch in Conifer. The details were vintage with the most beautiful muted tones. Stacy Powers of Brighton Floral added the perfect touch with her floral centerpieces. Did I mention that Brittany and her Mom did almost every single detail? I have to say that I love their photos. The set of Brittany is a series of her reading a card that Jeremy gave to her on the wedding day. Awww...I'm such a sucker for romance.

The following vendors helped their day go off without a hitch.

Wedding Coordination - Vera and Drayton of Lower Lake Ranch
Flowers - Stacie Powers of Brighton Floral
Bridal Party Hair - Miranda of Swank Salon in Brighton, CO
